Review & commit

Turn scattered changes into thoughtful commits.

Understand what changed before choosing what to commit. Stage individual lines, reuse a recent message, and keep every step in view.

History & context

Follow the history. Understand the code.

Search messages, authors, or diff content in the commit graph. Trace a file or a line of code to see how it evolved.

The commit graph is adapted from VS Code’s Git Graph (Source Control History view). Third-party notices

Git Worktree

Switch tasks. Keep your place.

Give different branches of one repository their own directories. Fix a bug, try an idea, and build a feature with a separate workspace for each.

  • See each directory and branch, then switch from the repository menu.
  • Use an existing branch or create a new one in a directory you choose.
  • Keep uncommitted changes in each worktree while you work elsewhere.

Conflict resolution

A way through conflicts. Your way.

Choose a side inline, edit the result yourself, or compare both sides in a three-way merge. Then stage the resolution and continue your Git operation.

An everyday workflow, connected

Your everyday tools. Right beside your repository.

Search code, run commands, sync remotes, and manage submodules. Keep your workflow close without all the context switching.

SSH keys, GitHub authentication, and proxies

WSL repository support on Windows

System terminals and external tool integration

Language & appearance

Your language. Your kind of workspace.

Work in 简体中文, 繁體中文, or English. Choose light, dark, or your system appearance to make the workspace feel familiar.

A few useful details

Before your first commit.

Does Enjoy Git monitor your data?

Enjoy Git does not monitor your data. Every project you manage belongs to you. All application data, including repository files, settings, project information, and logs, is stored locally and is not automatically uploaded to Enjoy Git servers.

Sensitive information such as passwords and API keys is encrypted using your operating system’s encryption facilities before being stored locally. It is never stored as plain text.

Do I need to install Git separately?

The Windows and macOS installers include Git, so you can get started right away. On Linux, install system Git with your distribution’s package manager first.

Which processor architecture should I choose?

Choose arm64 for a Mac with Apple silicon, or x64 for an Intel Mac. On Windows and Linux, match your device’s processor architecture. Most Intel and AMD devices use x64, which may also be called amd64 in Linux packages.

Where does my code go?

Repository files and regular Git operations are handled on your computer. Pulling and pushing connect to the remote you configure. AI commit messages are optional: when used, relevant change context is sent to your chosen model provider. You can also configure a local model.

When should I use a worktree?

Use a worktree when you want to keep your current changes while working on another branch. Each worktree has its own directory and workspace, so you can move between tasks without first putting your changes away.

How can I report an issue or suggest a feature?

Open an issue on GitHub or email the developer. Include the steps you took and your operating environment to make the problem easier to investigate.
